Music for the Ages . . . or is that "The Aged?"

For the past several years, my good friend
Bob Lewis has organized piano concerts at
the Moore County Senior Enrichment Center.
Here's today's program.
Bob had asked if anyone had anything to offer in
the line of country music, and I volunteered a medley
of old country standards.
Chipper was my sidekick and was a big hit in his
Halloween costume: Davy Crockett.  In addition to
my medley I played the Disney Davy Crockett theme.

The concert was well attended, and emceed by the
amiable Billy Bag O' Donuts, local radio celebrity.

Bob Lewis, the mover and shaker behind this event,
always entertains us with anecdotes to accompany his
interesting selections.

Gervais, our Canadian friend, arranges travel to Moore
County each spring and fall to take part in these concerts.
He and all the participants have fascinating stories-- and
are more than willing to share them!
Keep your eyes (and ears) open for next
Spring's Senior Concert. It's great fun.
