Hunter is THREE!!!

If you think Hunter looks like King of the
Bouncy House, there's a reason for that.
It was his BIRTHDAY, and Hunter is THREE!

When you're three you can have Spiderman
on your cake if you want to.  Or anything else.
And you get to do Mommy's annual Q&A.

Hunter was once a bouncing baby.  He's
graduated to bouncing big boy.  But he's
still bouncing!

Is somebody sneakin' up on me?

These grinning cousins are as happy as can be.

Okay, it's time for monster hugs!

Followed by face squishing.

Who can have the skinniest face?

Quite gratifying that with piles of presents
awaiting, Hunter delves into the bag of books
as if he didn't even care if there were more
gifts.  But of course, he did care.

AAARRGGHH!!
Pirates are just one of the many themes that
would please Hunter, who is rather eclectic
in his interests.

What a guy our Hunter has grown into
in three short years.  What patience, too!
Can I blow it out now? Can I, can I?

In fact, Hunter WAS very patient.  And it's
a good thing.  It takes a while to assemble
all of us "oldsters."

Hunter had specially requested a dragon.
Me and Judy were delighted to fill that order.
And I'll take more pictures of it as soon as
Matt quits playing with it.
(It's GRANDPA'S turn, Matt!)
P.S.  Hunter wanted a fire-breathing dragon,
but there's a government restriction on those.
He had no complaints.

The chalk fairy had decorated Hunter's
front walk with a birthday greeting.

After gifts and cake, it was back to the great
outdoors.  Make way for Brianna!

And for Claire and Evan!

Will the girls both fit through the
entrance at the same time?

And once in a while all four kids are
in one place at the same time.  Interesting
how they seem to like being on the outside
just as well as being on the inside.

Leave it to Birthday Boy to start a new craze: a
combination of rock-climbing and bouncy house.

Now you see him, now you don't.
But he'll be back.

It took a pickup baseball game to draw the
kids away from the bouncy house.
Batter up, Evan.

I bet Hunter can hit it a lot further than
the day before when he was only two!

Bri, at four, is still the undisputed champion.
She smacks that ball like Amanda once did
in our backyard.  Better stand back!

Everything was perfect for Hunter's birthday.
Especially Hunter!
