"Time Marches On" Part Three

This blog won't quite get me up to date,
but it covers a lot of ground, including the
Sally Taylor Radney visit.  And much more.

Hunter:  "I call it Pile-up on I- 85."

"Here, Kitty Cat.  You missed one."

Bri makes sure Kitty Cat doesn't overlook any
of this yummy treat.

A Very Special Day!  Sally visits the Loyd place
with baby Calvin and young Evelyn.

Can Calvin really absorb all the wisdom from these
three: Judy, Sally, and Amanda?  He's trying hard.

Meanwhile, Evelyn explores the Loyd playground
while Hunter dives headfirst into his slide.

Evelyn: "Are these dinosaur eggs?"

Judy pulls Evelyn, and Bri pulls Judy.
That's teamwork.

And Hunter pulls . . . well, just for the fun of it.

Giddyap!

Amanda thinks Calvin needs cuddling.

No complaints from Calvin.

"Sally, can I borrow him?  He's too cute!"

Soon, the whole caravan traipses down the path to
the stream.  Sally and Amanda went to the old stream
20 + years ago, when there wasn't a real path.

Evelyn and Bri don't need a rest stop, but they try
out Grandpa's bench just to be sociable.

ON TO THE WATERFALL!

Led by Bri, the fearless!

"C'mon, everybody!"

Bri demonstrates how to send leaves over the
waterfall.  While simultaneously not getting doused!

Later, back at the play area, the girls serve up some
fine vittles for Hunter.

Having your kitchen outdoors means there are
never too many cooks.

Hunter has developed a real attachment for this deadly
viper with its terrifying sound effects.
Nightmares, anyone?

The kids pile into Grandpa's old station wagon.
No gas.  No keys.  Who cares?

Let's head to Jennifer's house-- different day.
Evan and Hunter have great time on the glider.

CHE-E-E-E-ESE!!!

Jennifer and Matt hosted an October family dinner for
all of us.  The kids put on a perfect performance of
fine manners and decorum.  They're getting so big!
(no high chairs or booster seats)

Okay, let's get a group picture.  Everybody sit still.
Take ONE.  Oops.

Okay, TAKE SEVEN.
Oh, whatever.

More blogs coming soon.  I'm still not caught up!
