We've had some beautiful fall days recently, permitting Claire to spend more time outside while visiting with us. Here, she was emptying a bucketful of balls into a new toy (yard sale, of course).
How's this for an example of divergent thinking? What do you do with a bucket when it's empty? That's an easy question for Claire.
It's stylish, durable, and functional (safety helmet protects from falling pears).
See what I mean, Grandma? And one size fits all. . . sort of.
When we went for a cart ride around the field later, the new bucket had to go along, of course. Mark my words; by next spring we WILL have a sandpile for these children-- somewhere!
For Claire, the next big excitement is the coming of little brother Evan. I can't wait to see the expression on her face when little brother arrives!
